When I first got this tattoo back in 2022, it had nothing to do with the place and everything to do with the embedded message. When people see these words written on my arm, a lot of them outwardly assume- “wow, you must love Vienna A LOT.”
The funny thing was, at the time I’d never been. Because for me, the tattoo wasn’t actually about the place.
But now… oh, how happy I am that it brought me here- to this beautiful place. These words on my arm will forever serve as a reminder to slow down and remember that everything meant for us in life will come- all in good time. But now even more, when I look down at my arm I will think of you, Vienna.
Your elegance and class is not comparable to anything I have experienced before. Your people, ages old and young, celebrate life- and I think that’s the most beautiful thing we can do as people on this Earth. Your willingness to accept someone who is not your own and teach me the ways of your city was endearing.
And for that, I’m eternally grateful.
