A Valentine’s Day in Milan

Nineteen.

Today I counted nineteen people carrying flowers.

Some patiently waiting at the train station- such anticipation in their eyes, and others walking hand in hand through the streets.

Smiles plastered across their faces.

Although strangers to me, their love was contagious.

In a world that can be so chaotic at times, it brought me so much joy to observe such a surrounding abundance of love. It’s truly something to celebrate- loving someone.

But what I think is extra special is that love doesn’t mean just one thing- there’s no one definition. This year, I am celebrating the love of the family and friends in my life. Love of my career. And love of life- traveling, experiencing, and meeting new people. So here’s to a year of love… in many forms.

Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️
