Have any of you ever heard of ThredUP? If not, ThredUp is an online thrift store where you can buy and resell clothing, shoes, and accessories! It allows you to easily shop from home, but at low prices.
ThredUP is a great way to shop sustainably! Everything is secondhand, meaning whatever you buy has already had a previous owner. By buying off of ThredUP you are giving something a second life (or maybe even third) ! Another great part about ThredUP is the quality you receive. They ensure everything is freshly cleaned and in good condition!
One of my favorite parts of it all is that they have an entire giveback program where you can clean out your own closet, and then earn money back!! I mean come on… could it get any better than that? ThredUP even has a partnership with my all-time favorite company @reformation . For free, you can go online and request to receive a clean out kit in the mail. Once you fill the bag following the guidelines outlined (pictures 5, 6, 7), you just head to your nearest FedEx location and ship your package for free! After the clothing gets processed, ThredUP decides what is good enough to sell, and they recycle or reuse the rest. You then can receive store credit towards @reformation , @thredup , or you can choose to just get money back.
I think my package had to weigh 30 lbs… but boy does it feel good to live in a little less clutter. Remember, less is more 😉
